My name is Mika Yatsuhashi, and I'm a video artist. I grew up in Takoma Park, Maryland and moved to Montreal in 2017 to study film production at Concordia University's Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. In 2020, I was honored to win the Mel Hoppenheim Award and I will graduate in 2021 with a BFA. While documentary films are what I usually end up creating, I have a passion for exploring all forms of film and video. Recently, most of my work has been centered around American identity and my family history.
Thank you!
